
A design system with results.
Eight brands, each with their own voice, style and products that needs to be wrapped in one flexible experience. Sounds simple right? ;-)
Each brand operated their own outdated eCom site that created inefficiencies and a fragmented customer experience. BPAG's (Bestop Premium Accessories Group) goal was straightforward yet ambitious: unite all their brands under a single, scalable platform without sacrificing individuality.
How I got it done:
As Creative Director, I worked closely with stakeholders from BPAG to understand their goals and problems. Using that information I was able to execute a creative strategy that delivered results and increased operational efficiency.
Design Approach
The majority of the biggest problems to overcome with design happened up front. The design needed to be very flexible for each of the 8 brands, but also modular. During this time my goal was to ensure that each brands identity came through the core design system.
To do that I held design collaboration sessions with each brand stakeholder where we reviewed the design that incorporated their brand, products and content into the overall design system. Feedback from each brand was used to push the design system for maximum flexibility and ease of use.
